Award-winning digital contracting software business, Summize, has partnered with leading legal design and operations consultancy The Law Boutique (TLB) - architects of the widely adopted oneNDA initiative – to launch a new framework to simplify and standardise legal contracts, the Summize Premium Playbook.

Recent research from the 2022 In-house Legal Technology Report revealed that 92% of respondents believed that time spent on manual daily tasks took time and effort away from working on larger business goals or affected their ability to deliver services in a timely way.

A truly digitalised approach to documentation unlocks the real value that lies within the playbook content created by TLB and made accessible by Summize. The Premium Playbook will integrate as part of Summize’s AI-powered software, saving clients85% in time spent reviewing contracts by having knowledge, guidance, and content at their fingertips.

With 90% of legal professionals using solutions from three or more software vendors to manage their work, concerns around inefficiencies caused by these multiple platforms, unfriendly solutions and an inability to collaborate effectively were top of mind.

Tom Dunlop, co-founder and CEO at Summize, said: “The legal tech market is one of the largest globally, and yet is vastly undigitised. Legal tech and AI has helped the legal industry become dramatically more efficient, effective and revenue-focused, and we know that this contract playbook will promote consistency and reduce contractual risk across the entire business.

“We’ve really enjoyed working with Electra and the team at TLB to create our playbook. TLB are experts in their field and by combining our software paired with premium legal content, we’ll be able to bring game-changing digital content to our clients.”

Electra Japonas, founder of TLB and co-founder of the #oneNDA club, added: “Traditional legal methods to deal with contracts are very manual. Now it’s clear we need to be thinking about how to scale contract processes, people are looking to technology and standardisation as a way to do things differently.”

“Lawyers’ precious time is far better suited to focusing on larger business goals. We’re confident that this playbook will equip Summize clients, old and new, with best-in-class software, crucial when interacting with contracts.”
