The role

This is an individual contributor role that sits at the intersection of events, content and community. You will own Summize's full events calendar, from flagship conferences to intimate dinners. Your responsibilities will also extend to influencer activations and the cultivation of our in-house general counsel community.

You will sit within our Content marketing pillar and work closely with our Head of Content, the Growth marketing team and Sales to ensure every event is well-targeted, well-executed and measurably contributes to pipeline.

This is not a just an event planning and logistics role. We are looking for someone who brings a creative, content and campaigns lens to events. Thinking about the message before the venue, the follow-up before the invite list, and the community before the conference.

Key responsibilities:

Events calendar & execution

  • Own the full FY27 events strategy and calendar — conferences, one-day events, webinars/tech showcases, meeting packages and hosted dinners
  • Lead end-to-end execution: venue, logistics, vendor management, budget, attendee experience and post-event follow-up
  • Drive MQL generation and pipeline attribution from every event format, working with Growth Marketing on data management on lead flow and HubSpot tracking
  • Manage sponsorship deliverables across all conference appearances — ensuring we maximise every investment
  • Build and manage the regional field events budget — activating around conferences and supporting field sales with local breakfasts, dinners and networking and reporting on spend

Thought leadership programme

  • Curate and manage a pool of events for Summize's in-house general counsel and legal influencers to attend as speakers and panellists
  • Own the speaker pipeline — identifying opportunities, writing briefing packs, preparing speakers and capturing content from each appearance
  • Work with the legal team and CMO to build Summize's presence and credibility in the GC community

Influencer & Community Activations

  • Curate and manage a pool of events for Summize's in-house general counsel and legal influencers to attend as speakers and panellists
  • Own the speaker pipeline — identifying opportunities, writing briefing packs, preparing speakers and capturing content from each appearance
  • Work with the legal team and CMO to build Summize's presence and credibility in the GC community

Content & campaigns

  • Write and produce event-specific content — invitations, landing pages, pre-event briefings, post-event recaps and social coverage
  • Create speaker packs and briefing documents for all event appearances
  • Develop post-event nurture sequences in collaboration with Growth, ensuring every event has a clear content follow-up
  • Contribute to the broader content calendar with event-led content and community insights

What we’re looking for:

Essential

  • 3-5+ years in a B2B marketing role with strong events ownership. You will have previously run a full events calendar, not just supported one
  • Content and campaigns background. You can write a compelling invitation, a crisp post-event recap and a speaker brief without help
  • Proven ability to manage multiple event formats simultaneously, each with different objectives, audiences and lead flows
  • Strong project management and commercial instincts. You are experienced in tracking pipeline contribution, not just attendance numbers
  • Experience working with Sales on target account lists, meeting packages and event-driven pipeline programmes
  • Excellent communicator and relationship builder. You are comfortable briefing senior speakers and hosts, managing agency partners and working across time zones

Desirable

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, legal tech, professional services or a sector with a senior professional ICP
  • Familiarity with influencer or ambassador programmes in a B2B context
  • Experience building or contributing to a professional community programme
  • Exposure to thought leadership content strategy — speaker development, panel curation, executive positioning
  • HubSpot or equivalent CRM experience.

What we offer:

  • 26 days’ vacation plus flexible public holidays (increasing by one holiday for each year of service, up to a maximum of 30 days).
  • Private Healthcare and Dental Coverage
  • Access to discounts on things like travel, electronics, fashion, fitness and more
  • Employee Retirement Plan (401k) with matching
  • Group Life Insurance Benefit
  • Rich learning and development opportunities supported through our Growth Mindset Fund.
  • Seaport based offices with fantastic perks, fully stocked fridge providing soft drinks and complimentary breakfast and snacks
  • Work from anywhere after one year of employment
  • Employee share option scheme
  • Regular social activities and events
  • Opportunity to be a part of one of Boston’s hottest tech scale ups
