What type of contracts does Summize work with?

Summize has been created to be flexible. It provides an easy-to-use 'clause builder' that allows users to create custom rules relevant to any contract types.

How do I know the summary is correct?

Summize is a unique, rules-based platform, and while we are confident in our software’s abilities, all summaries can be manually reviewed.As you create summaries with Summize, the software becomes more familiar with your clauses and language choice; making the results tailored to you.

How does Summize know what’s important in my contract?

Summize uses a standard set of clauses to review your contracts. However, all clauses can be customised to suit the user.

What security measures does Summize use to keep my contracts confidential?

All contracts are stored in UK data centres and encrypted at rest and in transit.

Uploading Contracts

Where are my contracts stored?

All contracts are stored in Microsoft Azure's UK-based data centre.

Who can access my contracts?

You are in full control of your data - only your paid-for users will be able to access your contracts.

What type of contracts can I upload?

At the moment, all contracts must be uploaded in either a PDF or Word (docx) format.

Can I upload photos of a contract?

Yes. However, these photos or scans need to be in a PDF format.

Creating Summaries

Can I edit a summary once it is made?

Yes. Summize extracts the most relevant information and ranks paragraphs by relevance to each clause, but this can be tweaked to suit the user.

Who can access my contracts?

You are in full control of your data - only your paid-for users will be able to access your contracts.

What is the table view?

The table view allows you to view all of your uploaded contracts in a clear and easy format. It provides instant information on the aspects of the contracts and their clauses.

Sharing Summaries

How do I share summaries with colleagues?

All summaries can be shared through our export function.

What file formats are supported for summary exports?

Summaries can be exported to Excel and Word.
